Book Review: Dad’s Bible (NCV)

Dad’s Bible: I am a sucker for a good bible commentary. I love my MacArthur study bible or my Archeological bible and I am always looking for a new bible to add to my library that has a good commentary in it. This bible intrigued me because I have recently become the father of a teenager and I am always looking for ways to impact her life for Christ.

Throughout this bible I have found several relevant commentaries that speak to fathers of sons or daughters. The commentaries do not distract from the bible itself as they are thoughtfully added in page breaks or large chapter breaks.

I like to add my notes in the margins of my bibles so that when I go back to read it again in the future I can continue to grow my insight. I found plenty of space in the pages of this book.

I fully recommend this bible commentary to any father that wants to reflect on their responsibility while spending time with God in His word.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from Thomas Nelson Publishers as part of their BookSneeze.com <http://BookSneeze.com> book review bloggers program.
