I would like to congratulate MSNBC for improving their rating with a small program change. Last Friday MSNBC made the decision to let go one of their worst performing shows, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, and all ready they are seeing positive returns.
Story: “But for now MSNBC doesn’t have to worry about replacing Olbermann. The man who moved into the 8 p.m. timeslot on Monday, Lawrence O’Donnell, posted strong ratings in the messy aftermath of Olbermann’s dismissal last Friday, bettering his predecessor by about half.
O’Donnell averaged 1.5 million total viewers Monday at 8 p.m., according to Nielsen, compared to Olbermann’s average of just over 1 million.”
1.5 million is still far from the Fox News program at that time, Mr Bill O’Reilly, but maybe they are on pace to become relevant.
I agree. Olbermann was a pompous blowhard that was hard to handle for more than a minute.
