I Am a Follower The Way, Truth, and Life of Following Jesus By Leonard Sweet is a unique book in the sense that it swims against the stream of leadership books in the main stream culture.
So often we hear how we need to become better leaders, I can’t count the number of books I have read that offered some insight in to how to accomplish that. This is the first book, not counting the Bible, that said “be a good follower first”.
The author offers some great ideas as too why we should focus on being better followers, how we to make it happen and, through Bible verses, where Christians are called to be followers. This book has left me with a new way of looking at my path in life and how I will continue.
