It is now common knowledge that General Electric pays either nothing or very little in federal income tax on the profits it makes. It is also common knowledge that Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of GE, is on the President’s job council and regularly advices the president on business. Crony capitalism is alive and well in the Obama administration.
Not long ago another billionaire businessman snuggled up to the crony in chief, Mark Zuckerburg was seen meeting with the President on numerous events. Today I came across an interesting story:
Even though Facebook (FB) reported $1.1 billion in pre-tax profits from U.S. operations in 2012, it will probably pay zero federal and state taxes—and even receive a federal tax refund of about $429 million—according to a Feb. 14 statement from Citizens for Tax Justice. (source)
I guess it pays to make friends with Obama. Of course this takes money away from the Federal budget and causes our deficit to be at record levels, but who cares about deficits when you can count another billionaire as your friend.
If anyone really thinks Obama is for helping the middle class and wants to take from the “evil rich” to spread the wealth around, you are lying to yourself. Look what the President is doing for spring break, playing golf with middle class hero Tigger Woods. Michelle was so happy about it that her and the girls are in Colorado skiing.
President Obama does not care about the middle class. He does not care about the poor. He definitely does not care about the United States of America. All he cares about is himself. President Obama is just another selfish politician that will say what ever you want to hear so that you will cast your vote for him. He does not care if you are struggling to pay your bills, as long as he gets to rub elbows with famous people like Tigger Woods, Beyonce and Mark Zuckerburg.
Today I woke up and had a thought that brought a smile to my face. I will count this thought as the happiest part of the 2012 election cycle. So the thought that I had was that no matter what happens tomorrow, no matter who wins and will be in the President on January 20th is that in 4 years Barack Obama will not be our President.
I know, if Mitt Romney wins then Barry could run again, but I don’t think the Democrats would risk running a looser against the person who bear him. So in 4 years the Democrats would have to run a new candidate and that will show the direction that party plans to go.
If Barack Obama wins, Americans will wait out another 4 years of a bad economy knowing that a new President will take over when he is done. Americans will do all they can to succeed DESPITE the actions of Barack Obama, just like we have tried to do the last 4 years. We did all we could to better our lives, even though we knew he would take credit for any thing positive and push blame to someone else for anything negative, because Americans want to succeed.
Where is the outrage and calls for retribution based on blatant racism toward Marc Lamont Hill? When a person publishes a list that signals people out based on skin color, in a negative way, you would think the main stream media would be exposing this blatant example of racism.
Oh, I understand it now. Marc Lamont Hill is a black democrat. The hypocrisy no longer surprises me.
I will let a great American state this much better than I could:
Sometimes I come across a comment on WordPress that makes me want to weep for the future of America. Today I came across a post where the author said:
“that our President who has done everything in his power to be conciliatory and has been by all accounts a moderate” (source)
This level of ignorance makes me fear that it is too late for America. When the most left leaning president since LBJ is considered a “moderate” I weep. When the most divisive president since Woodrow Wilson is considered “conciliatory” I weep.
If someone creates a political scale that uses Barack Obama as the middle of the scale JFK would look like a right wing radical. That person will never be able to have an honest discussion on politics, they are too far gone.
In a recent post at “Whatever Works” the blog author wrote:
USA! USA! USA! (ssshhhh, don’t let the secret out)
We don’t trust the Congress. We don’t trust the Executive. And since Bush v. Gore and all the 5-4 decisions since, we no longer trust the Supreme Court.
However, by all measures, Americans have a high level of trust in the U.S. military. Admiration too.
Don’t tell the flag wavers that the United States Military is an entirely Socialist enterprise. It would spoil their fun.
Figuring that my response would be censored I wanted to post it here to fight the lies:
saying that “the United States Military is an entirely Socialist enterprise” is a completely ignorant statement that shows you have no understanding of what Socialism is. If I am wrong, please give a definition of socialism and then show how the US military fits that definition.
Are you up for the challenge?
I hope that the author really is ignorant, because it would be scary if someone would knowingly propagate such lies.
This goes along with my last post and it is so disturbing that because it is true NO ONE WILL LISTEN.
Here we have the current Attorney General of the United States saying in a video from 1995, when he was Attorney General of Washington DC, telling us how he wants to go about “brainwashing” children.
How does he suggest the government “brainwash” American children?
The school system – everyday at every level (be repetitive)
Commercials – ad agencies
Community leaders like Jessie Jackson – community organizers
catchy hotlines (ie DARE, or “Just Say No”)
I’m sure Elle Macpherson would jump at the chance to help disarm Americans so it is easier for the socialists to take over.
If you are considering voting for Barrack Obama on November 2012, ask yourself this question… Do you trust him? Do you really think he has your best interests in mind when he puts people like Anita Dunn and Eric Holder in front of your children?
“Barack Obama’s politics meant nothing to Samuel L. Jackson because the “Pulp Fiction” star only voted for the president for one reason and one reason only … because he’s black.
In an interview with Ebony magazine, Jackson explained, “I voted for Barack because he was black. ‘Cuz that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them … That’s American politics, pure and simple. [Obama’s] message didn’t mean [bleep] to me.”
Jackson then went on to drop the N-word several times when discussing Obama, telling the mag, “When it comes down to it, they wouldn’t have elected a [bleep]. Because, what’s a [bleep]? A [bleep] is scary. Obama ain’t scary at all. [Bleeps] don’t have beers at the White House. [Bleeps] don’t let some white dude, while you in the middle of a speech, call [him] a liar. A [bleep] would have stopped the meeting right there and said, ‘Who the [bleep] said that?’ I hope Obama gets scary in the next four years, ‘cuz he ain’t gotta worry about getting re-elected.”
Smacks of … Obama needs to Black it up.”
So, will the MSM give this story more then a passing comment?
On a side note, does it scare you that someone got elected based on race alone? I spoke to several people after the election in 2008 that told me that they voted for Obama based on wanting to be a part of history by electing the first “black” President. Mr Jackson is not a isolated case of racism in voting and I am scared that his racism will be the driving force behind a re-election of a President based only on his skin color.
