1,350 days of a “do nothing” Senate

Byron York of the Washington Examiner says it clearly (emphasis added by me):

Tuesday marks the 1,350th day since the Senate passed a budget. The law requires Congress to pass a budget every year, on the grounds that Americans deserve to know how the government plans to spend the trillions of taxpayer dollars it collects, along with dollars it borrows at the taxpayers’ expense. But Majority Leader Harry Reid, who last allowed a budget through the Senate in April 2009, has ignored the law since then.

There’s no mystery why. The budget passed by large Democratic majorities in the first months of the Obama administration had hugely elevated levels of spending in it. By not passing a new spending plan since, Reid has in effect made those levels the new budgetary baseline. Congress has kept the government going with continuing resolutions based on the last budget signed into law.

While Reid has forbidden action, the House has passed budgets as required. Senate Democrats have been highly critical of those budgets, designed by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan. But under Reid’s leadership, Democrats have steadfastly refused to come up with a plan of their own.

Yet some how the lunatic left will still blame Republicans for this.

Consequences of a “kick the can down the road” administration.

Ever since Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid took control of the US Congress there has been a “kick the can down the road” mind set to dealing with problems. I know that both of them, and the majority of congress, are too old to care about paying the bills for the votes they are buying today, but this style of governing is going to destroy our country.

There was hope that when the GOP took the majority in the House that Mr Boehner would stating making real decisions, that has proven wrong. Once Harry Reid made the decision to not vote on any budget passed by the house, or vote on any budget cut bills, we have been stuck with the status quo created during the DNC majority in congress.

(side note: It is amazing how the media has trained Americans to think of the GOP as the do nothing party when it is the DNC that has done nothing since 2009-2010, when they had control of both houses of congress and the White House)

Now I would like any one that voted for Barack Obama in November to look at their next paycheck. Notice something? That’s right, your taking home less. In order to try and buy votes he got congress to cut employees contribution to Social Security from 6.2% to 4.2%, so we paid less to Social Security for the last two years. As of Jan 1st 2013 our contribution now goes back to 6.2%.

If the President really cared about the middle class that 2% reduction would have been a permanent change, not a 2 year “kick the can” plan.

So for all those that voted for Barack Obama, thank you for the reduction in pay.

Oh, and a little advice, don’t get used to what you make as it will continue to decrease as long as he is President and Harry Reid refuses to bring House bills up for a vote. Once they tax away the wealthy they will come for the middle class and those taxes will increase before long.

Eric Holder chooses his scape goat and the MSM will be happy with it.

So the Obama administration and the Department of Justice are going to throw Lanny Breur under the bus to take the heat off of Eric Holder for the Fast and Furious debacle.

The report says Attorney General Eric Holder was not made aware of potential flaws in the program until February of last year. But the report cites 14 other department employees — including Criminal Division head Lanny Breuer — for potential wrongdoing, recommending the department consider disciplinary action against them. (Fox News)

All though this conclusion does not explain the use of executive privileged by President Obama, and it does not say that Eric Holder had no knowledge of “Fast and Furious” prior to February. But I predict that the media will run with this report and call anyone that questions the report a “conspiracy theorist” and then dismiss any additional inquiry.

Forget the fact that the report was written by an employee of the Department of Justice. Are we supposed to believe they are impartial? A crime has been committed and someone needs to go to jail and that someone is the person that allowed this to happen. Eric Holder wants the paycheck and prestige of being the Attorney General, now he has to accept the responsibility that goes with that position.

Until we the people hold our elected official responsible for their actions they will continue to act irresponsibly. Start throwing some of these dirt bags in prison and we will start getting better results from Washington.

Eric Holder tells how he wants to “really brainwash people”

This goes along with my last post and it is so disturbing that because it is true NO ONE WILL LISTEN.

Here we have the current Attorney General of the United States saying in a video from 1995, when he was Attorney General of Washington DC, telling us how he wants to go about “brainwashing” children.

How does he suggest the government “brainwash” American children?

  • The school system – everyday at every level (be repetitive)
  • Commercials – ad agencies
  • Athletes
  • Entertainers
  • Music
  • Movies
  • News papers
  • Television
  • Community leaders like Jessie Jackson – community organizers
  • catchy hotlines (ie DARE, or “Just Say No”)

I’m sure Elle Macpherson would jump at the chance to help disarm Americans so it is easier for the socialists to take over.

If you are considering voting for Barrack Obama on November 2012, ask yourself this question… Do you trust him? Do you really think he has your best interests in mind when he puts people like Anita Dunn and Eric Holder in front of your children?

Are we seeing plank 6 come to fruition?

For those not familiar with the 10 planks of the communist manifesto, the 6th plank reads “Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.”

We can all agree that the FCC has managed to secure government control over communication and with Harry Reid pushing for a stronger SOPA bill to be passed if the Democrats win majority back in the house, the progressives can check that off their list. But then there is the harder goal of controlling transportation.

It’s easy to see this administrations push for “high speed rail” and other forms of mass transportation as their attempt to control transportation, unfortunate for them Americans still like to control their own transportation and all forms of mass transportation have proven to be a failure so far.

So how do they over come the free will of the American people to drive their cars where ever they want to or to jump on  plan and visit any other state in the union? At this time we can see that their plan may be to make it too expensive for the average American to drive their cars:

(CNSNews.com) – So far, during the presidency of Barack Obama, the price of a gallon of gasoline has jumped 83 percent, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

And some people are saying that we should expect that trend to continue even higher as we enter the summer. Good thing for the progressives that President Obama has stopped the Key Stone pipe line project from supplying the country with more Canadian oil so that we have to ship in the oil from the middle east.

Then today I saw a news report that shows how they are taking away the option of air travel from the average American:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. airlines in 2011 operated the fewest number of flights since the hijack attacks on New York and Washington depressed air travel and accelerated the industry’s worst-ever financial downturn, government figures on Tuesday showed.

So as you can see, the plan looks to make air travel both too expensive (fuel costs and bag fees) and uncomfortable (TSA anyone?) for most Americans to make use of it. This will eventually force Americans to accept mass transportation and then the progressives can check this off their list of goals.

Either resign yourself to government care and vote for the Democrats this November, or take back our freedoms and vote with the Republicans this year. We are running out of time to fight back, today is the day of salvation.

Democrats want SOPA at all cost!

On January 18, 2012 the voice of the people was heard all over the internet and what they said was “get the government out of the internet!”. Congress was looking to expand its power over the internet and proposed to use two pieces of legislation called SOPA and PIPA as a way to control and stifle free speech on the internet.

Thanks to the effort of the free market and majority rule the voice of the people was heard. Thousands of internet sites “blacked out” their sites as a form of protest. Internet giants such as WikiPedia and Google made their millions of visitors aware of the mess. Many congressmen turned on the legislation as they saw and heard the out pour of anger against it and the legislation was defeated… or so we thought.

Senate majority leader Harry Reid (Democrat from NV) has stated he is working on a new “cyber security” bill to be brought for a vote in 2013. Harry Reid is hoping that if Barrack Obama is re-elected and the Democrats win majority back in the House he will then be able to pass this legislation without opposition.

So a vote for the Democrats in November will be a vote for internet censorship. You won’t hear this on MSNBC or ABC leading up to the election, so you will have to educate yourself. Democrats in Washington want to censor the internet, will you support them?

Lawrence O’Donnell has lost all credibility, along with MSNBC

In a recent interview with Alvin Greene, the DNC candidate for the US Senate, Mr O’Donnell showed that he will do anything to promote the DNC. Even when faced with a ridiculous joke of a candidate Mr O’Donnell still endorses him. Watch the video linked below for a good laugh:

The fact that MSNBC allowed this comedy to be on their “news” channel destroys their credibility also. Don’t get me wrong, FOX news has done lot to promote the GOP, but nothing to the level of this. Mr O’Donnell should be shipped off to the DNC retirement home for broadcasters called current TV along with the other joke he replaced.

If my post sounds upset it is because someone will watch this interview and believe that Mr O’Donnell’s opinion matters. Someone out there will watch MSNBC and think they are getting unbiased news. People need to wake up to the fact that all cable “news” channels are money making businesses that will cater to a view in order to sell advertising time. FOX caters to a GOP audience and MSNBC to the DNC. Please people, do not take what any of these channels say as fact until you have verified it through other sources.

Form your own opinion!
